Description:
Hi. I have a server at home I am trying to make pernament. Currently I can only backup DB when logged into Admininstrator locally. i.e. When making remote connection using static IP, the backup fails at comments header of backup file.

How to repeat:
1. Setup MySQL server 5.1.12 on Vista (with static IP)
2. On another computer over internet, using Administrator..
3. Perform a remote backup with Administrator

Backup fails right after comments headers are written, see screenshot attached.

Thank you for your bug report. This issue has been committed to our source repository of that product and will be incorporated into the next release.

If necessary, you can access the source repository and build the latest available version, including the bug fix. More information about accessing the source trees is available at

    http://dev.mysql.com/doc/en/installing-source.html

PS: Jared, thanks a lot for the access to your server. It is quite special (user is not allowed to see schema "mysql") and helped so quickly to find the cause of the trouble.
