Description:
The win64 version of MySQL install does not include mysqld nor will it install as a service:

The documentation mentions the following program, but it is not included in the installation either
C:\> "C:\Program Files\MySQL\MySQL Server 5.0\bin\mysqld" --install

How to repeat:
Download installer for Win64x and attempt to install on a Win64 XP system.

Thank you for a problem report. Please, send the exact URL you had used to download that installer. Describe also the exact steps you had performed to install MySQL server on 64-bit XP.
