Description:
Hi even that 5.0 is released to the public. Till 5.022 the embedded dll is npot included
in windows distribution.

When will be included?
Or how can we work with embedded server using 5.0 tables?

How to repeat:
Install version 5.022 or extract it from 5.022

Suggested fix:
can it be compiled?

updated documentation will appear on our website shortly, and will be included in the
next release of the relevant products.

There will not be a release of embedded server for MySQL 5.0. You should look at MySQL
4.1 or MySQL 5.1 instead.

So this mean that 5.1 already has the mebedded server dll? because i remeber last time i
donesloade 5.1 beta there were no dll included.

The "embedded server" (in fact: the library) is included in most 5.1 packages for Unix,
currently only as a static library (".a").

It is not yet built + shipped for Windows.

We intend to do this, but I can not reliably tell a specific version or date when it will
be done. Sorry!

Yes you are right. I Downloaded 5.1.11 and the directory is empty:
