Description:
fresh install. normally use DBDesigner. reverse engineered my blog db (database->reverse engineering->connect-> ect.) text to be displayed in the table diagram is being placed ABOVE the table diagram. Tried to see if it was simply the reverse engineering... try to create a clean diagram, add 1 table... same thing. text data above the table image.

Drivers up to date for video. Image of problem: http://www.khankennels.com/workbench.GIF

How to repeat:
Install windows with installer. reverse engineer a database.

Thank you for the bug report. Could you please provide a sample project
file which causes that behavior on your side, attaching it here using the
Files tab.

Thank you in advance.

uploaded the workbench "Save" file for the database that was reverse engineered and the mysqldump --create-options --no-data for the actual database as a reference.

Thank you for the feedback. I created the schema with the dump you had
provided and did reverse engineered with MySQL Workbench and I was
unable to repeat the issue you reported (please see the picture I attached
before). Then I think is an environment issue on your side (display card
for example). Could you please describe your hardware for our GUI team
knows which kind of hardware creates that issue.

Thanks in advance.

I have uploaded a screen shot of my computers device manager. If you need additional information about my computers configuration, just let me know (as well as how to access the information you want) and I will be happy to provide it.

Thank you for your help. Guess for now I will just have to keep on using the old DBDesigner :(

Hi,

Perhaps if could be of any help. I've also found weird video behaviours in two computers mounting SiS video cards. Here some snapshots...

Computer 1: Windows 2000 sp4. Old video driver.

Computer 2: Windows 2000 sp4. Updated video driver as far as I can found.

MySQL Workbench on Computer 2 is completely unusable: any object in the wiew is not selectable/usable and appears duplicated. On Computer 1 it seems only graphs within the objects are affected, bottons, for instance.

Please, let me know if I can be of any further help. I'm using MySQL Workbench without this kind of problems in other Windows XP boxes. I've no more Win 2K ones to try with. Sorry.

Best.

Oops! It seems to me that the link to the first picture has been cropped by the system! Sorry. Just complete by hand the .jpg extension of the filename or use this new one...

Thanks!
