Description:
When deleting a layer, the layer stays visible and if you click on it to move it, it holds on to the layer forever producing:
Access violation at address 0118C4A6 in module 'libmysqlgrtwbmodule.dll'. Read of address 00000034

How to repeat:
1) Open workbench
2) press "l" and drag a new layer on, 5x5 inches.
3) press "t" and now click a new table into that layer
*** note, now the layer shows up... You can see the backdrop.
4) select the table, cntl+delete, yes.
5) select the layer, cntl+delete, yes.
*** note, layer still remains as if it exists. Clicking on it, requires a WB restart.

Suggested fix:
When creating a layer, it doesn't show up initially, until another item is dropped into that layer. Perhaps have it drawn as soon as it's created. Secondly, when you delete the layer, make it disappear.
