Connector/ODBC Window:

All error messages looks as “[“

How to repeat:
 Make new DSN for MyODBC 5 driver. 
 Try to Test DSN with incorrect data, for example, password or port.

Thank for the bug report. I was able to reproduce the bug on Windows.

Fixed in rev702. DM was calling diag function to get the length, but we didn't support
returning the length without the data.
