Bug #12835 1.0.5 won't install on system with 1.0.4 installed

Description:
After receiving the email notice of availability for 1.0.5, I attempted to download. 
First problem - the mysql.com page referred to in the email still points to the 1.0.4
version.  Not a big problem, I just changed the URL.  After downloading and unzipping
1.0.5, I attempted to run the installer, which told me that I already had another version
of this product installed.  In the past, I have been able to have multiple versions of the
connector installed on the system at once (at least I'm fairly sure this is the case).

How to repeat:
Attempt to download and install the 1.0.5 version of the connector.

source repository of that product and will be incorporated into the
next release.
