Description:
It's not possible to alter the order of columns in a table, nor possible to insert a column in a designated spot in the table.

How to repeat:
MySQL Administrator > Schemata (select table) > Schema tables (choose table) > Edit table > Columns and Indices > try and drag a column name, it will always show a 'not available' sign as the mouse cursor.

I would like to join this feature request. I experience a lot of inconvenience when I switch from Mac OS X where it works to Windows where it does not and you have to type an ALTER TABLE query.

Many thanks for writing a bug report.

It is not SQL Standard conform to resort column order.

Because it is possible at MySQL SQL I will set it to verified.

Many thanks for writing a bug report. We are on the way to implement full functionality of MySQL Administrator into MySQL Workbench. We won't add this feature request anymore.
