The dialog box doesn't stay open long enough for me to attach the file log. 

How to repeat:
Try to execute the following Click > to expand 'sakila'.
Click > to expand 'Tables'.
Right-click 'film'.
Click 'Select Rows - Limit 1000'.

Thank you for the bug report.
Are you using workbench to connect to the server? If yes, launch workbench under debug mode (--log-level=debug3) and provide unaltered workbench log file(more details about log are explained here - https://dev.mysql.com/doc/workbench/en/workbench-reporting-bugs.html).
