Description:
Embedded tests of "mysql_client_test" failed on all platforms (except cane-linuxthreads).
In the build of 5.0.6, there were these different symptoms (in addition to bug#9914, not listed here):
1) a plain crash without usable message,
2) aborts on a failed check "rc == 0" in various lines.
