I forward this question in behalf of Sandro Tosi <morph@debian.org> who tries
to automatically update bug reports in the Debian Bug Tracking system according
to changes that are made to the upstream bug reports.

For this a simple to parse XML output of a specific bug report would be very helpful. I'm already aware of the possibility to track a search result as XML feed but was not able to get a parsable XML for just a single bug report.

> Hello!
> In the goal to expand bts-link [1] to a wider set of packages, we'd
> like to support MySQL too.

> MySQL issue tracker [2] is based on Php issue tracker [3], and with
> the latter we are able to export bug information in XML format (for
> example [4]) that's a really nice format to be parsed by a program
> (instead of doing web scraping).

> We'd like to ask you if you know of a similar "easy to query" output
> format, alternatively if you can forward this request to MySQL
> upstream authors, so we can find a solution.
