Description:
When I build with the flags '--without-server --enable-thread-safe-client' I get the
server files too.

This was addressed in Bug #23973, and a patch for configure.in was produced, but the patch
doesn't seem to be applied in 5.0.45.

How to repeat:
./configure --without-server --enable-thread-safe-client
make

look at the contents of bin/mysqld*

Suggested fix:
Apply the patch associated with Bug #23973

Verified as described.

This problem was still on 5.0.45 and 5.0.51,
likely because community changes was in its
own community repository at that time, and
accidently no merge was done of this change
to that tree.

It was corrected in 4.1.23, 5.0.34, 5.1.15,
5.2.2, 6.0.0 and up, *except* in 5.0.45 and
5.0.51.

Noted in 5.0.67 changelog.

The server was built even when configure was run with the
--without-server option.
