Description:
The Connector/J JAR is not possible to build out of the box because the directory
src/lib-nodist is missing.  There is no documentation I have come across explaning that
you should create this directory before building the driver JAR.

build.xml:171 has an exclude for the content of **/lib-nodist/*, this might cause the
directory to be omitted from the final archive.

How to repeat:
Extract the original package and try to execute ANT on it.

Suggested fix:
Ensure the empty directory exists within the distributed package, maybe a dummy file needs
to exist in the directory to ensure empty directories aren't pruned.

A patch for this bug has been committed. After review, it may
be pushed to the relevant source trees for release in the next
version. You can access the patch from:

Fix will be available in 5.0.1 and 3.1.13. You can try a nightly snapshot from
http://downloads.mysql.com/snapshots.php#connector-j if you want to test the fix before
