Description:
MySQL Workbench Version 6.3 Build 511 CE
on Windows 7 Ultimate Machine, 64bit 

MySQL Version: MySQL 5.5.49-0Ubuntu0.14.04.1 

Connection via SSH, user has write access to my.cnf

Changes in my.cnf through "options file" in Workbench: 
innodb_trhead_concurrency 0
innodb_write_io_threads 64
innodb_thread_io_threads 64

Error occured after about 30 seconds after click apply:

"Auf das verworfene Objekt kann nicht zugegriffen werden" Objektname "MformsButton"

BUT: Changes have been commited to my.cnf

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.3.9 release, and here's the changelog entry:

Changes made with the Options File editor were committed to my.cnf
correctly, but also generated an error.
