Thank you for the bug report. Please check with current version 6.3.6 there is no back-port fix for older version like 6.3.4. Thanks.

I obviously won't get the bug with 6.3.6 as there is no newer version and only when there is a newer version released, the bug will appear on 6.3.6. I had the same bug for all previous versions I used, just never bothered to report it.

Thank you for the feedback. This is also observed on Win7 with 6.3.4/6.3.5.

MySQL Workbench 6.3.7 has been released, but I found WB 6.3.6 can't detect WB 6.3.7 by "Checking for Updates" yet. I seem WB goes to http://wb.mysql.com/installer/products.xml for detecting newer version ( See https://github.com/mysql/mysql-workbench/blob/6.3.6/modules/wb.utils/wb_utils_grt.py#L585 ) http://wb.mysql.com/installer/products.xml says current WB version is "6.2.3". This issue may not be WB's, but maintaining products.xml's one.

Posted by developer: Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.3.9 release, and here's the changelog entry: Check for Updates from the Help menu failed to detect new releases. Thank you for the bug report.
