Description:
After reopening an EER Diagram (that was build from scratch, no reverse engineering), all the tables were stuck at the top of the "Diagram" window.
It is possible to move them from left to right per Drag & Drop, but they won't move downwards.
It is also possible to change the property "Top", which will place the table correctly. If said table is then again moved by drag & drop it will re-attach to the upper border of the window. Note: Clicking on the Table does nothing (but selecting), but clicking, holding, and then moving the mouse will immediately place the table back at the upper border.
I opened this model file at work (same OS / Workbench) and at home, no difference.
Every other Model file i open, wether self-built or demo-file will work just fine.

Hi

Please try changing the size of the diagram and/or change the paper size.

Hi,

i changed the page size via "File"->"Page Setup"->"Size" from A4 to A5;
Problem is gone, all tables can be freely arranged now.
I then changed back from A5 to A4 again, and everything is still fine.

Thanks a lot.

Hello,

I am using MySQL workbench 6.3 and there is still diagram view 71533 bug. All tables stuck at the upper right border of the window. I changed the paper setup to A5 and then to A5 and it works. However, I have to rearrange every time all my tables. Is there any other solution?

Thank you.

Hi, I have the same problem with version 6.3.5... done the change of paper size to A5 or Letter and no changes.... Any other clue????

I had the same problem. WB 6.3.5 in Linux Mint 17.2 (Ubuntu 14.04 based).
I discovered all my diagrams were broken and start looking at previous versions in dropbox. I found the exact version where this happened. I'm attaching the last good and the first bad, just in case are useful to programmers.
I've tried the suggestion on changing the page size, and worked fine; but I've lost all the diagrams layouts.

Fixed as of the upcoming MySQL Workbench 6.3.9 release, and here's the changelog entry:

EER diagram tables were locked to a fixed location in the window for some
.mwb files. This fix enables users to unlock the tables within the diagram
and to persist those changes by first changing the size of the diagram
(click Model, Diagram Properties and Size) and then saving the file.

Thank you for the bug report.
