I doubt 5.0.22 is really supported by Workbench. Can you try to forward the same .mwb to some newer version, 5.0.92 or 5.1.54+?

Please, send the output of Help > System Info menu item. Also, please, right click somewhere in the error dialog box with no text and use Copy stack trace to clipboard context menu item. Send stack trace to this bug report.

I can't reproduce on Windows XPx86 WB 5.2.34, MySQL 5.5 and the Model that you provided. Can you please send us the Windows Event description generated? You can find this typing "eventvwr.msc" on the Start->Run on windows.
