Description:
The are tests failing with the following symptoms in PB2:

The server [timer - pid: -7324, exit: 0] crashed while running 'check testcase before test'

This bug reported has been reported after the following failure:

NOTE: as it's noted in Bug#46006, XRef2 does not sort by the date if
'test output' filter is used. That's why the search above includes
the date range.

Verified as described.

I see same behavior with random tests which I run while verifying bug reports.

See last comment: this is a server crash, but there were no logs available.

as long as a it's an mtr failure, please take time to look at it.
Not all server crashes are bugs. Please provide us with a backtrace at least, so that we can fix this bug in the server.

I will look into possibly extracting lines from server logs after crash. It won't help for the cases that have occurred though.

But even in the absence of this, there server logs are available after test run and lately they should also all be downloadable from PB2, will see if I can actually find some.

A patch for this bug has been committed. After review, it may
be pushed to the relevant source trees for release in the next

I'm redifining this as an MTR problem, if this leads to more meaningful error reports, a new server bug may be filed.

A patch for this bug has been committed. After review, it may
