Description:
maybe just the example config file is too old.

in my-small.ini, the option is set as below

thread_stack = 64K

where the value is out of range and a warning would be thrown out when start mysql.

How to repeat:
see the my-small.ini packaged within mysql-noinstall-5.1.30-win32.zip

Suggested fix:
set a proper value or delete and leave it as the default

Noted in 5.0.76, 5.1.31, 6.0.10 changelogs.

In example option files provided in MySQL distributions, the
thread_stack value was increased from 64K to 128K.
