Description:
Happened during a test build of current 6.0.8-alpha.

This test was done on few platforms only,
and some failed to build (for example, see bug#40107),
so there was only one big-endian platform on which tests were run:
   Linux/PPC (this one).

When the suite was run "embedded", all tests failed, until the test suite timeout stopped the run:

=====
main.1st [ fail ] timeout

Stopping All Servers
Restoring snapshot of databases
Resuming Tests

main.alias [ fail ] timeout

Stopping All Servers
Restoring snapshot of databases
Resuming Tests

main.almost_full [ fail ] timeout

Stopping All Servers
Restoring snapshot of databases
Resuming Tests

main.alter_table-big [ skipped ] Test needs 'big-test' option
main.alter_table [ fail ] timeout

Stopping All Servers
Restoring snapshot of databases
Resuming Tests

main.analyse [ fail ] timeout

Stopping All Servers
Restoring snapshot of databases
Resuming Tests

...

How to repeat:
Build + test on Linux/PPC.
