There were two problems fixed in this patch: 1. Even if there was no changes to a table, before the fix, a table map event could be generated anyway in the binary log. This redundant table map event did not cause any problems, but was not needed and should not be there. 2. Slave did not properly stop if a table was replicated from master to slave, but the table did not exist on slave. After the fix, the slave properly stops if a needed table does not exist on slave.
