It was verified that the Red Hat and SuSE specific IA-64 RPM packages in 4.1.19, 5.0.21 and 5.0.19b don't depend on the Intel icc runtime libraries. The procedure how to do this verification has been documented as part of the release process, and will later be part of an automatic package verification.
