Description:
Section: User Administration
Tab: Schema Privileges

On the schema privileges screen, the assigned and available lists for the user are updated when the user selects an item from the schemata list by clicking its text name.

It was not obvious to me that I needed to click the text at first, and at first I thought there was a bug in the program. It is a common idiom in user interfaces to be able to select an item by clicking its icon or its text label. I think the product and users would benefit if the UI behaviour sticks to this convention.

In fact, the rest of the MySQL Administrator UI seems to do this already - I can click on the "people" icon as well as the text "User Administration" to bring up that section. The same applied to the user icon and name entries in the "User Accounts" section.

How to repeat:
Open MySQL Administrator.
Click User Administation label.
Select a user.
Click a database icon - nothing happens.
Click on a database name - the privileges are shown.

Suggested fix:
Update available and assigned privilege lists when the database icon immediately to the left of the database name text is clicked.

Many thanks for writing a feature request.

Indeed the system only will react by clicking on the text not on the icon. We will discuss this.
