Description:
When more than 7 tabs are open, any tab can be activated using the selector list at the right top of the result pane. When a tab beyond the 7th is activated, the visible tabs indices are grayed, yet no index is shown for the selected tab. Thus it is not obvious, which tab has been selected.

This applies likewise to opening a new tab.

How to repeat:
(1) Open 8 tabs
(2) Select tab 8 in the tab selection list

Suggested fix:
hide the index for the tab, that has not been used for the longest time and show the index for the newly selected tab (tab indices put in the order used in the tab selector)

This also implies, that a tab can only be closed without using the menu if it is within the first 7 tabs opened (and still open).
