Category:MySQL Query Browser Severity:S3 (Non-critical)
Version:1.1.10 OS:Linux (Debian/Linux)
Assigned to: CPU Architecture:Any

Description:
While most .guess and .sub files were updated to modern ones (2005), the following from 3rd party sources were not,

mysql-query-browser/source/linux/gtksourceview/config.guess
mysql-query-browser/source/linux/gtksourceview/config.sub

Could you please update these as well for the next release? The current timestamp for these is 2003-02-22.

Use of these old .guess and .sub files prevents mysql-query-browser from building cleanly "out of the box" on some architectures.

How to repeat:
.

Suggested fix:
Update the above two files. You can copy the newer versions from elsewhere in the source or even just symlink to the newer versions elsewhere in the source tree.

Looks that issue was fixed in the current source package. Could you
please upgrade:

Uhhm, you are looking in the wrong place. You have to look in the files themselves, not the file modification timestamp. Now, I could not find the development sources anywhere, so this is from version 1.1.12,

mysql-query-browser/source/linux/gtksourceview$ grep ^timestamp= config.*
config.guess:timestamp='2003-02-22'
config.sub:timestamp='2003-02-22'

These should be updated to something from this year as per my bug report, so please reopen this bug report.

Thanksm

Is anyone looking at "closed" bug reports so they can be reopened? Or should one just file new bugs?
